San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 935 Throws Support Behind James Ramos for Assembly

(Highland, CA) – The James Ramos for State Assembly campaign announced he has secured the endorsement of the brave men and women of San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters, International Association of Fire Firefighters Local 935.

During his time on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and in the State Legislature, James Ramos has championed issues important to firefighters.

“Firefighters can count on Assemblyman James Ramos. He continues to fight for the resources and tools we need to keep Californians safe,” said Jim Grigoli, President of San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters, International Association of Fire Firefighters Local 935.

With over 100 years of service to the communities within San Bernardino County, the San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters, International Association of Fire Firefighters Local 935 represent the men and women of the San Bernardino County Firefighters and the affiliate membership of Colton, Loma Linda, Big Bear, and Montclair Fire.

“I am humbled to have the support of the organization, said Assemblyman James Ramos. I look forward to continuing to fight for resources that keep our firefighters and communities safe.”

Ramos, the first California Native American to serve in the California State Assembly, was elected to represent residents of the 40th District on November 6, 2018, after serving as a San Bernardino County Supervisor for six years.

Assemblymember James C. Ramos, a lifelong resident of the San Manuel Indian Reservation in San Bernardino County, is a member of the Serrano/Cahuilla tribe.

California Teachers Association And United Farmworkers Join In Support Of James Ramos For State Assembly

(Highland, CA) – The Ramos for State Assembly Re-Election campaign announced an endorsement from the California Teachers Association and the United Farmworkers.

“These organizations have faced a very difficult two years on the frontlines of this pandemic,” said Assemblymember Ramos. I am proud that they have endorsed me for re-election, and I look forward to working with them as we move this state forward.”

Assembly District 45 includes the cities of Rialto, San Bernardino, Redlands, Fontana, Mentone, Muscoy, and Highland. Assemblymember Ramos already represents over half of this district. Governor Gavin Newsom won this seat in 2018 by over 60%. The seat has a Democratic Registration advantage of + 25%.

SENATOR PADILLA BACKS JAMES RAMOS FOR RE-ELECTION TO STATE ASSEMBLY

“Assemblymember James Ramos is a strong voice for the Inland Empire and I’m proud to support his re-election. I look forward to continuing to work together to uplift working families in the 45th Assembly District and throughout the state of California.”

Ramos, the first California Native American to serve in the California State Assembly, was elected to represent residents of the 40th District on November 6, 2018, after serving as a San Bernardino County Supervisor for six years.
